I did pretty well at Christmas this year, and it was totally unexpected!
I'm going on holiday in a couple of weeks so I agreed with my family, and my girlfriend agreed with hers that we wouldn't spend too much money on Christmas gifts for each other.
We were really careful and planned our gifts really well so that we didn't spend too much, but still gave pretty good, solid gifts to our loved ones. We got really nice clothes for both sets of parents, I got my sister an Urban Decay make-up set which was expensive originally but was half price in a one day sale, and we got her brother and r4 ds card for his Nintendo.
They all loved their gifts so it was awesome, but they totally cheated with ours. We ended up with loads of gifts, they just went OTT with the shopping. We'll have to bring them back lots of goodies from our trip!
